…A practice game 😦

These SHOCK takes have to stop. Training camp is exactly that – time to train on execution, different looks, different takes, different approaches. No team is going to show you anything during open practice. In the Eagles case – think of it this way. This will only confirm why training camp takes are just dumb!

The Philadelphia Eagles were the number 1 rushing team in all the NFL last year. Saquon had more touches last year than any other year in his career. Yet by all accounts he has had the most touches in this camp than he ever has. So why would the best running team focus on running the ball during camp.

The reps will come, the new or tweaked offense will be there on September 4th. How do I know this… because Nick Sirianni surprises everyone each year he has been the Head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Remember the shock takes from his first press conference, from his “see ya” at KC, from his yelling at fans. Think about it. Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni, have been to two Super Bowls in 4 years, and still don’t get credit for it. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE.

I’m sorry I’d rather have a passionate coach, who by the way can coach his ass off, than the other guys in this town. I’d rather have a QB who main goal is winning. He will do anything he can do win. That’s not good enough for talk show host. He is not flashy, he doesn’t throw for 4000 yards.

Lets see, Mike Schmidt wasn’t flashy – GREATEST 3rd basemen of all time. Was he loved, nope, not until years after he retired. Randal Cunningham – people look back and say – WHOA he was AWESOME. They guy won NOTHING as an Eagle. Mike Vick; Desean Jackson; Fletcher Cox; Brandon Graham; do I need to say more.

This town needs to learn from their mistakes, don’t love these guys after their gone, love them now! Enjoy the ride, the highs and lows will come, for sure. I have been a die hard since 1980, never missed one Eagles game, ever!! I have their entire history since 1933 embedded in my history, reading; researching; watching tapes at NFL films. This team was HORRIBLE for years and we only wanted to be in contention. We have a great team! A real chance of going back to back. However seems like this town is only focused on list than actual outcomes.

Come on guys – instead of criticizing these guys, you should be criticizing yourselves. You have to do better. Philly has less championships than any other major city. I don’t care if our guys are 1st or 31st in the league. Win, win for all those years we were embarrassed to watch. Win for all those guys that just fell short. Win for this city and when we do list how big of a smacked ass you were during this time.
