Tale of two games. Booed off the Field at halftime, cheered off the Field at the end of the game.
Time will tell, but I feel yesterday Jalen Hurts took ownership of the offense. He was the company guy and did what he was asked to do. Leaders know when it’s time to change things up. Hurts used his leadership role and changed the attitude of that team in one passionate conversation with the OC.
I love that Hurts read the team, knew what had to be done, and did it. The players follow his direction and trust him. Yesterday was a true team win!
Now let’s talk about the MAN, AJ Brown. There were catches in that game only 11 could do. He willed himself to get several first downs. No one was going to stop him. When he scored that TD he smiled so big you just felt all his frustrations come off his shoulders. I have a feeling that AJ just put another level of fear into the souls of the rest of the NFL.
