Perfect Passing day for the Birds.

A perfect passer rating for Hurts. 326 yds on only 23 attempts. It’s amazing when you play from under center every once and awhile.

Kudos to Hurts for making changes against the blitzes,  for running scramble drills as needs. Watch the highlights and look at Jalen hands before he snaps the ball. Notice the hand signals. I don’t know who they are meant for, but the signals were revieved. Just a beautiful day for the passing game.

The running game continues to struggle. I know Barkley is 400 yards off the pace of last year, but 2000 yards has only happened 9 times people. Also this year the opposition is staking the box, our Offensive line has not played together all season. Toth, Johnson,  and others cannot be expected to be as good as the real O-line.

I have all the confidence in the world the running game will be better. Not 2024 good but much more serviceable than it has. That offensive line has to much leadership for it not too.

Also, playing under center yesterday will help in long run. Teams seeing that option cannot keep stacking the box and letting 11, 6 play against man.

The secondary still struggled and I truly believe our starting CB2 isn’t on the team. A trade is coming.

I did like seeing Cambell playing edge yesterday with Dean playing LB. Dean just is so good against the run and plays so violent.  He brings some swag to the team. Not CJGJ swag though. Whom I would bring back in a heart beat. He just works here.

I’m going to end this with my thoughts on the BG rumor that he is coming back. Look we all love BG, and you know what adds to BG mystique the way he ended his career.  He ended on top, he ended a legend. I don’t want him to come back to ruin that.
