Stop speculating….

Last week it came out that Vic Fangio contemplated retiring AFTER Superbowl LIX and again this year. Then a few days later it was reported that he would be in fact returning.

So why are the radio stations all saying he wants to retire because of the dysfunction in the locker room? Or he is retiring because the team offended him by wanting McDaniel as the new OC.

If Philly sports talk doesn’t show the world what we fans already know after this, then nothing will.

They are literally ignoring the reports and creating a panic narrative. They know that bashing the Eagles generates calls. We have a Sixers team playing well and a few days from the trade deadline.  We have spring training around the corner. We need to start talking about firing some Flyers brass. No, let’s not generate calls about any of those factual events happening. Let’s create something from a throw away comment last week.

Nationally you guys have become a joke! You lost all credibility and you need to stop trying to be shock talk radio. Philly is too smart for that and your disrespect of that is truly pushing fans away.

Lastly,  if as reported he thought about retirement after the Superbowl year, wouldn’t that suggest it was just an age thing. If he wasn’t going to come back this year, why would the Eagles let Christian Parker go and not retain him.

Let’s talk about real sports issues guys as mentioned not stories.
