The football season is completed. A huge offseason awaits the Philadelphia Eagles and there will be lots to discuss in the coming weeks. What we collectively need to do is place a little focus on the Philadelphia Phillies right now.
We are a week away from pitchers and catchers. One week and we still have Nick Castellanos on this team. Have the egos settled? Is he our new third baseman? Is he our new 4th outfielder? Is he getting traded? Is he getting released?
Who’s the 5th starter? Are they content with Bohm hitting clean up?
The Phillies need to address these things and more. With the baseball classic happening in a month, they don’t have much longer to sit on their hands.
Howie is going to cook in the coming months we all know that. What we have to hope for is that the Phillies brass are more like the Eagles than the Sixers. Unfortunately, the silence is very confusing to us fans. They have one more solid run in them and I just don’t get running it back. A rookie in center and a rookie starting pitcher is just not enough to say it’s gonna turn around.
Will the Phillies take the risk the Eagles take? The clock is ticking…
