I started this blog because Philly sports radio had become unbearable. It was just stupid hot takes after stupid hot takes. I just returned from a two-week vacation. This is what has been said on WIP during that time frame. One host said Jalen Hurts is not intelligent enough to run a complicated offense. Fritz …you wish you had an ounce of what Hurts has. The man has had a different coordinator every year for his entire career. Do you know how many schemes he has had to learn. You’re on a fine line there, borderline into a dark place. Your hate speech of Hurts over the years is disgusting.
Oh, but that’s OK because the Phillies are as dumb as a rock. They keep rolling out the same team and have the same issues every playoffs. Yet, no, they’re amazing. Because you never seem to criticize them. Hmm interesting.
Oh let’s see what else??
The host suggests benching Hurts for McKee. They recommend trading Hurts. Another idea is to draft another QB. Oh, and let’s not forget the chatter about firing Nick.

Josh Allen – 3083 yds passing/ 8.2 avg/ 22 TD/ 10 INT/ sacked 31 times
Jalen Hurts – 2754 yds passing/ 7.2 avg / 19 TD / 6 INT / sacked 28 times
Come on Philly. Do you hear Bills fans screaming to bench Josh Allen or trade him? We are smarter than that, people. The bad cop good cop programming at WIP is embarrassing. It disappoints the fans. While I was away, I was watching a national show on ESPN. A host said WIP used to be the pulse of Philadelphia. Now that’s no longer true. WIP is the villain of the Philadelphia fan. WIP tries to use slander, negativity, disgusting hot takes to infuriate the fans to call in.
WIP has become fake news and they totally disrespect the host who made WIP…the Steve, Angelo, Mike, Glenn, and even Howard must be so disappointed with what it has become.
The morning show host is just a bully. The mid day show is told what to say. The afternoon show tries to be a Howard Stern show…(Spike is a hack by the way), but all of them fail!!
You know where there is a saving grace in this city…tune to 97.5. They speak with common sense, they don’t bully their opinion, they listen and have honest and open conversations. Jon Marks is on midday’s and he is a former WIP host and he too is calling them out. A breath of fresh air.
I know the Eagles are struggling. We as fans only wish they come up with a scheme that makes sense. Winning is winning and over Nick’s tenure he has done nothing but win. Has it all been pretty, absolutely not, but should we be speaking about firing him, absolutely not.
The WIP afternoon show is being passive aggressive. They have a positive game with no booing during the first quarter. They are making fun of the positive bunny. Enough with the agendas already.
I know me writing this falls right into what you want. You want attention. I will do whatever it takes to bring REAL sports talk back to this city. That’s exactly what I am going to do and that’s why 4realphillyfans exist.
